We are continuously working to minimize our emissions and have already been able to celebrate successes. This success motivates us in our daily work. Our aim is to gradually become more sustainable and thus offer future generations the same opportunities that we enjoy.

At FLEX, we rely on 100% climate-neutral certified green electricity and green gas to actively reduce CO2 emissions and support global climate protection.

Since 2023, we have been going one step further: with our own solar plant, we are also helping to reduce our carbon footprint and making another important contribution to climate protection. The system has been running since fall 2023 and has already produced over 27,500 kWh of solar power in its first year.

As part of the refurbishment of our Steinheim site, we have implemented extensive measures that make a sustainable contribution to energy efficiency, resource conservation and climate friendliness. The improvements include the installation of thermal insulation glazing, the installation of an energy recovery system and new, energy-efficient air conditioning systems.

We have also switched to more environmentally friendly heating systems and taken many other steps to reduce our ecological footprint and create a more climate-friendly working environment in the long term.

FLEX is committed to environmentally friendly mobility. Our employees can charge their vehicles at the company's own charging stations.

We also promote environmentally friendly mobility with our job bike offer, which enables our employees to use bicycles at attractive conditions and thus get to the office sustainably and actively.

Our products are designed for maximum durability and low weight. These well thought-out design features enable us to minimize production quantities and reduce the use of resources. In this way, we actively contribute to environmental protection and conserve natural resources.

Our dedicated service center offers professional repair of defective products, helping to conserve valuable resources and significantly extend the service life of your FLEX tools. In addition, we ensure that spare parts are available for at least 5 years after a product is discontinued - often even longer. This comprehensive service supports our mission for sustainable quality and minimizes the environmental footprint of our products. If a product can no longer be repaired, we will dispose of it professionally and free of charge on request.

Old electrical appliances and batteries contain valuable resources that can be reused through proper disposal. This not only protects the environment, but also helps to reduce pollutant emissions that could otherwise be released into the ecosystem. By disposing of them properly, we not only protect the environment, but also your health, making an important joint contribution to environmental protection.

The European Union has adopted the new Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This regulation aims to effectively combat deforestation and forest degradation by ensuring that only verifiably deforestation-free products can be made available on the EU market.

At FLEX, we welcome the introduction of this regulation and are actively working to adapt our processes to stop potential deforestation in our supply chain. Our goal is to contribute to the protection of forests while ensuring sustainable products.

The safety of our customers and end users is our top priority. To ensure this, we apply strict quality standards and carry out comprehensive tests. These include climatic tests, performance tests, noise and vibration tests, durability tests and electromagnetic compatibility tests.

In addition, we provide detailed operating instructions and product information on our website to support the safe use of our tools.

FLEX is actively committed to a healthy indoor climate and protection against pollutants. Our air purifiers offer an effective solution for reducing virus-laden aerosols, bacteria, dust and pollen. Equipped with a HEPA H14 filter, they remove 99.995 % of pollutant particles from the air.

In addition, we are a leader in the development of advanced extraction systems for our products that effectively combat dust and fine particles.

Although FLEX is not subject to the legal requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), we have decided to implement these voluntarily. Our goal is a supply chain that is free from human rights violations and significant environmental impacts. To this end, we carry out a comprehensive annual risk analysis of all our suppliers to ensure that our high standards are met. In this way, we actively contribute to a responsible and sustainable supply chain.

At FLEX, we take every suggestion and every report of possible compliance violations very seriously. That is why we offer a whistleblower system that internal and external persons can use to report possible information securely and anonymously. This system enables us to identify irregularities at an early stage and act responsibly.

At FLEX, we focus on reconciling work and family life. We offer flexible working hours, mobile working and 30 vacation days to support the work-life balance of our employees. Our remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in North Württemberg/North Baden, including Christmas and vacation bonuses. Non-tariff employees benefit from performance-related remuneration. In addition, we offer a company pension scheme to strengthen the financial security of our employees.

As a responsible manufacturer of power tools, the safety of the user and the protection of the environment are our top priorities. FLEX uses internal processes and systems to ensure that you as a user are protected from toxic substances and can work safely with your power tool. It is also important to us that our power tools do not contain any substances that are toxic to the environment. You can find more information in our GPCs - Appendix 1 - Material Compliance.

We also focus on sustainability in our catering: By using water dispensers instead of plastic bottles, we reduce waste and conserve resources. We also offer vegan and vegetarian dishes in our canteen to do our bit for the environment and animal welfare.

We say no to corruption and bribery. In the Code of Ethics, which applies to the entire Chervon Group, we take a clear stance against corruption and any form of bribery.

FLEX is committed to social projects worldwide and is actively involved in the well-being of communities. We support initiatives that promote education, health and social justice and work to bring about positive change in different regions. Our commitment ranges from local charity campaigns to global projects in order to have a sustainable and positive impact on society.

In our Code of Conduct, we take a stand against all forms of human rights and environmental violations and condemn them in the strongest possible terms.

Slavery, forced labor and any other form of physical violence violate human dignity.

In order to ensure a supply chain free of human rights violations, FLEX carries out an annual risk assessment and, if necessary, obtains contractual guarantees to ensure compliance.
