New on the market: The CutSense^TM Auto mode

The TS 92 18-EC from FLEX is the first benchtop circular saw on the market to feature the newly developed CutSense^TM  Auto mode: This automatically stops the motor after cutting if desired. A sensor recognises when the cut is complete and stops the saw. Auto mode is activated by pressing the "A" button. If the next workpiece is to be cut, the motor only needs to be restarted with the On button.

This is particularly helpful, for example, for saw cuts where you have to hold the workpiece with both hands. The CutSense^TM Auto mode makes work more convenient for the user, increases productivity, saves power and protects the battery.

The first benchtop circular saw with a 92 mm cutting height

Thanks to its special design with a saw blade measuring just 254 mm, this FLEX benchtop circular saw can cut material 92 mm thick with just one cut. The electronics regulate the optimum power for the application according to the battery capacity and battery voltage, and support the user with maximum sawing power and speed.

Powerful longitudinal cuts - fast sawing progress

The TS 92 18-EC saws more powerfully and up to 42 % faster than with a smaller battery thanks to the brushless motor and electronics with the 8.0 Ah battery. The TS 92 18-EC can saw up to 80 metres in a 19 mm OSB board with just one battery charge.

Only 23 kg: The lightweight among benchtop circular saws

Thanks to a completely redesigned construction, the saw’s total weight is just 23 kilograms, which is an absolutely outstanding best value compared with the competition. This makes the TS 92 18-EC easy to handle and correspondingly easy to transport.

Brushless motor with overload and temperature protection

The electronics protect the motor from overloading and overheating to ensure a long service life for the tool, the battery and the saw blade. The electronics regulate the optimum power for the application according to the battery capacity and the available voltage, and support the user with maximum sawing power and speed.

Variable speed controller for 2000 to 5000 rpm

The variable speed controller also makes it easy to saw a wide variety of materials at the right speed. The desired speed can be selected for the respective material using the preselection wheel, and the TS 92 18-EC then adopts this as a constant speed. The result is a better cutting quality and the saw blade is protected.

Precise positioning with rip fence and angle fence

The TS 92 18-EC is equipped with both a rip fence and an angle fence, guaranteeing clean and precise cuts.

The rip fence can be moved precisely parallel using a rotary control, because the movement of the fence is secured with a rack and pinion system at the rear. This enables particularly fast, smooth and reliable adjustment of the rip fence in three different positions. This convenient adjustment option supports longitudinal cuts of up to 427 millimetres on the left side and up to 780 millimetres on the right side.

The angle fence is equipped with a long, T-shaped guide profile for mitre cuts up to 480 mm with additional fine adjustment to eliminate lateral play. The angle segment has locking points up to 60 degrees and the saw blade inclination can be adjusted from -1 to 48 degrees.

Integrated LED light with USB-C charging facility

An integrated and helpfully bright LED light ensures more comfortable and more precise work. The LED light directly illuminates the area inside the rip fence, which is removable. The LED light can be charged via the USB-C charging socket.

Reduced-dust working

The TS 92 18-EC includes connection options for an external dust extraction system with hose diameters of 27 mm and 36 mm. The chip collection bag is connected directly and is easy to empty.

Practical stowage and securing options

For easy transport, the angle fence, rip fence, push stick, protective cover, anti-kickback device, tool spanner, Allen key and dust connection can be stowed compactly under the bench.

The safety mains switch has a switch-off flap. To prevent unauthorised use, the switch can also be locked with a padlock (not included).

Optional accessories: Folding base frame

And there is a simple, practical and lightweight solution for anyone travelling with a benchtop circular saw: The saw can be easily positioned on a folding base frame that matches the TS 92 18-EC and fixed in place with clamps without the need for any tools.

The base frame offers a comfortable working height of either 922 mm or 942 mm thanks to adjustable legs. The legs have protective end caps for stability and to protect the floor against scratches. Thanks to its design and leg profiles, the base frame is easy to transport and safe and stable in use.
