Cordless impact wrench with ½" socket from FLEX
Low vibration and a robust design
Steinheim, December 2022 – Due to high demand, FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge GmbH is launching two new IW ½" 950 18.0-EC and IW ½" 750 18.0-EC cordless impact wrenches in January 2023. Both of these cordless wrenches work with extremely low vibration thanks to a decoupled tool head, making them gentle on the user while at the same time protecting the batteries. The robust design is another plus: The solid aluminium housing of the IW ½" 750 18.0-EC already has a patent pending.
As a powerful tool delivering up to 950 newton-metres of torque and up to 2,450 impacts per minute, the IW ½" 950 18.0-EC is designed for a wide range of jobs, for example when screwed connections are rusted or have seized up. The variably-selectable speed and stroke rate enables users to handle all tasks and while focussing on performance. A switch to change the rotation direction allows easy switchover. The reinforced aluminium housing with the greatest wall thickness in its class provides protection even in the toughest jobs. An all-round rubber cushion is attached to the shaft to protect the battery pack against damage when putting it down. The design and features of this powerful cordless impact wrench are just as suitable for use in the automotive industry, agricultural machinery, steel construction, locksmithery, metalworking and plant construction as they are for scaffolding, hall construction and carpentry.
Impact unit and motor in an aluminium housing
The IW ½" 750 18.0-EC cordless impact wrench also has a decoupled tool head for minimum vibration. The powerful percussion mechanism enables stuck or rusted screw connections to be loosened even under extreme conditions. The features are perfectly tailored to jobs in the automotive sector, for example changing wheels. The IW ½" 750 18.0-EC is also optimally equipped for fastening jobs in metalworking, hall construction and timber construction. The solid aluminium head ensures maximum impact resistance and durability. The impact mechanism and motor are located in the drill's robust die-cast aluminium housing. This makes the IW ½" 750 18.0-EC extremely insensitive to impacts and other damaging effects in everyday use on construction sites and in workshops.
